| News 2009/10 season about to start. Kids Hockey Registration this Sat 3rd Download Registration form here .......................................... Regrettably it has been decided not to enter a Ladies team this season as numbers have drastically fallen off and we have only a handful of committed players willing to play each week. Results from a secret ballot held at the recent AGM concluded that it was not viable to enter a team this season. It is an unfortunate turn of events as we had some very committed adults and younger players in the Ladies section. The club would not fill a team each and every week so it is unfair on the committed players to expect to play under those circumstances and also unfair on opponents. .......................................... 2009/10 AGM The club AGM will take place on Tuesday 18th August at 7.30 pm in J4 Classroom, Midleton College. All interested parties are asked to attend as it is vital to get input from all club members. Please attend and support the smooth running of the club going forward. If you are unable to attend please send apologies via email to midletonhockey@gmail.com or text Glenn on 086 6061024. .......................................... 2008/09 Season The Mens team finished the season in mid table in division 3. This was a great result on the basis of a very young and upcoming group being the backbone of the team this season. Although we have a young team it is also down to the fact that there are some very experienced players in the squad too. Here's looking forward to bigger and better things next season. The Ladies team also remain in division 3 and again have the mixture of youth and experience to thank for getting them through a tough season where they were pitted against some very strong teams in the division.
